What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer when you visit certain websites.

How to disable cookies

Internet Explorer
Block or allow all cookies

  1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button and then clicking Internet Explorer.

  2. Click the Tools button and then click Internet Options.

  3. Click the Privacy tab, then under Settings move the slider up to block all cookies or down to allow all. Then click OK.
    Blocking cookies may prevent some websites from being displayed correctly.

Firefox
To block cookies from all websites, do the following:

  1. Click the menu button and select Settings.

  2. Go to the Privacy section.

  3. Set the drop-down list next to Firefox will history: on according to custom settings.

  4. Uncheck Accept cookies. Click OK.

Google Chrome

  1. Select the Chrome menu icon.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. At the bottom of the page, select Show advanced settings.

  4. In the "Privacy" section, select Content Settings.

  5. Select Block all websites from saving data.

  6. Select Done.
